Sadly late on the day I returned to the UK from LA the news broke about Nick Courtney's death, I only met Nick a couple of times so I start by bringing a few memories to you. Also this week the Fans behaving badly panel from Gallifrey One, a discussion inspired by the controversy around the character of Ianto Jones's death in Torchwood. That did of course happen back in 2009 so this is a more general discussion of how fans treat writers both online and in real life, I warn you it does get quite dark.

This week I jump in my TARDIS(didn't you know all Dr Who podcasters have one?) and take you back to 2008, this was my second visit to Cardiff but the first podcast I'd recorded there, before that there'll be a brief bit of Sarah Jane Adventures news. Here's the show notes from when this show was originally released on podomatic.com in 2008(apart from the intro which is of course brand new) An audio dairy episode of my holiday in Cardiff, Wales with my friend Sanya Preston. We ticked off many of the sights and sounds of the city from The Millenium Stadium and The Castle but our trip concluded with a visit to Cardiff Bay and a few other locations that were used in the TV shows Doctor Who and Torchwood. If you want to contact the show email tdrury2003@yahoo.co.uk or leave a comment on the website.

I visited the Castle, Mar Di Gras, The University, Cardiff Bay and even managed to spot Matt Smith filming a 2010 episode of Doctor Who(Which I later found out was Victory of The Daleks) | ||

This week's show is part audio dairy of my day literally spent waiting for a £5 ticket to the Dr Who Prom at The Royal Albert Hall and also once I'd got that ticket a joint review of the event with my friends Adam J Purcell and Fake Keith of The Staggering Stories Podcast. Special commendation from me must go to my friends Sheldon Collins and Adam J Purcell who helped me hugely from not getting lost on the way home in a part of London I'm only vaguely familiar with.

This week I visited the London Film and Comic Con, probably best described as not a fully fledged convention but a signing event with a large amount of dealers and guests ranging from film and tv to sports stars. There were also some talks, not the word as these were of a Q&A nature not the interview/Q&A you would get at most conventions of the three I attended the being human one was probably the most interesting but sadly the recording is not great so I've saved you trying to struggle through the whole thing. You can see my photos of the event here http://www.flickr.com/photos/tdrury/sets/72157624398406013/
