A rare convention appearance from the current Doctor Matt Smith, this was recorded on 26th October 2012 in a packed hall at London Expo held at Excel London. My retro reviews continue with 2005's The End of The World and for me the moment Dr Who truly returned, we had aliens, lots of them! I still have a few minor niggles with this episode but on the whole it's held up well though it looks a little rough and ready in parts compared to the Moffat era.

The opportunity arrived for another of my famous or should that be infamous audio diary episodes, the occasion this time was the fifth anniversary of the Staggering Stories podcast. This basically led to a mad adventure in the Staggering Mobile, not sure which one of us was Scooby Doo, all the way to Cardiff and a few other places too. One hundredth episode! Phew! We start with a little bit of feedback then it's straight into John Levine's jaw dropping appearance at Invasion back in February, maybe he was jet lagged? I certainly was but I don't think I've ever seen anyone so hostile to a convention audience!

We end with the amazing news that broke last Sunday of the finding of two previously missing early episodes of Dr Who, then as this is the 100th episode a self endulgent montage collected over the last few months.

This week's show is part audio dairy of my day literally spent waiting for a £5 ticket to the Dr Who Prom at The Royal Albert Hall and also once I'd got that ticket a joint review of the event with my friends Adam J Purcell and Fake Keith of The Staggering Stories Podcast.

This week the end theme is Murray Gold's 2010 version of Ron Grainer and Delia Derbyshire's legendary theme to Doctor Who.

This week I visited the London Film and Comic Con, probably best described as not a fully fledged convention but a signing event with a large amount of dealers and guests ranging from film and tv to sports stars.

There were also some talks, not the word as these were of a Q&A nature not the interview/Q&A you would get at most conventions of the three I attended the being human one was probably the most interesting but sadly the recording is not great so I've saved you trying to struggle through the whole thing.

This week the last of my Doctor retrospectives as I take a look at David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor. I tell you a bit about his career before the show but somehow forgot to mention his time after so let's not forget his very successful run as Hamlet with the Royal Shakespheare Company and his role in St. Trinians 2:The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
