It is more difficult to write simply, directly, and effectively than to employ flowery but vague expressions that only obscure ones meaning.
Enjoyed your review of Vincent And The Doctor.
For me, Doctor Who is at it\'s best when it talks about real world issues such as in the case of Vincent And The Doctor, depression, by using a Doctor Who storyline as the carrier.
It was a beautiful episode from Richard Curtis\'s writing, Jonny Campbell\'s direction and the pitch perfect acting by the whole cast. Please Mr Moffatt, offer Mr Curtis a return engagement in the writing job.
To follow up the episode, I spotted this video on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d5FVXQ5d7o
Hope you enjoy it.
